Sitting just to the east and casting a shadow on the Stockyards sat a group of buildings in extreme decay, the heart of what was once Niles City. Comprised of a little over one half square mile in size, it once had 508 inhabitants and was labelled the "richest little city in Texas" due to the Fort Worth Stockyards Company, The Swift & Armour Packing Company, and the Stockyard Exchange. 1911 it was valued at $12 million. When the Swift & Armour Packing Company was operating at it's peak, 4,000 men and women were reporting for work. In 1923 Niles City was annexed and became a part of Fort Worth.

Tasha, Tasha, Tasha. If I could take anyone with me on any shoot ever, it would be this amazing girl! Saying it was fun shooting with her would be an understatement, I had a blast. It was a great way to cap off a crazy day of shooting down in Austin, and I can't wait to shoot her again!

Earlier this year I headed down south with my fantastic hair and makeup artist Christina to set up camp and have a little fun around a new area around Austin called the Domain. The idea was to do a little experimenting while doing some punk rock glamour style shoots. Courtney was the first of four on our long day of shooting and she was absolutely awesome.
