My preferred working time is anywhere from about 2 hours before the sunsets till about 3-4 am. Most photographers fear working at night, but I openly invite it. My somewhat logical thinking is that controlling light is a lot easier in the dark then when a giant orb of orange and yellow is hanging in the sky. It always helps to have a full arsenal of speed lights and remotes at your disposal, as well as nice warm ambient surroundings. So when Lisa called me up and said she had an amazing couple that wanted to go out on the town for the night, I instantly got all tingly inside.
Enter Michelle and Josh, a couple that look like they just stepped out of a magazine! And the passion between these two is unmistakable...magnetic.... there were times I hated breaking them apart so we could go to another location. There's nothing that I enjoy more then working with a couple that can just be themselves and have fun while shooting, with little or no direction from Lisa or I, and for these two it comes easy. They've have been together since high school, through college, into their professional lives, and this Spring they will tie the knot. A truly amazing couple, and the nicest people to ever work with. I loved shooting with them so much that I hated when it finally had to end. But the cold December air finally got the best of all of us and it was time to say goodnight.
It's been hard keeping these under wraps for this long, I just hope you guys love them as much as I do, and I look forward to working with these two again in the near future!
